Quick digital sketches, like this dragonfly, are a great way to warm-up. In this 20 minute sketch, my favorite part was drawing the wings to make them look delicate and still stand out in the background night sky.
I find insects difficult to draw because they have unusual structures and are truly a marvel of nature.
